Business Card

Above is the business card that I have produced. I felt with the main colour in the logo being purple and white, that I should incorporate this in the business card.

Diary for the course

Diary

09/09/11 – 16/09/11

Creation of the logo for my business.

The plan for these two weeks is the creation of a logo for my business “Eyes Of Imagination”. I will be putting my imagination to work to make the logo as eye catching as possible but also to make it relevant to the works of the business, which is the creation of magical and eye catching pictures, made from client based photographs or photographs that I have personally taken on their behalf. Ideas and finished product will be uploaded to my blogger. http://raeclarke-ps.blogspot.com/

23/09/11 – 30/09/11.

Creation and update of my CV.

I already have a CV on hand from applying for jobs, but the CV itself needs updating as the last time I have updated it was just before attending college. So a few qualifications here and there, and bit more experience here and there, and it will be sorted.

07/10/11 – 14/10/11.

Creation of a supporting letter.

The sort of supporting letters I have done have been for employers, so a supporting letter to persuade clients that I am the right person for them, will take a bit more creative thinking. But the main role for a supporting letter is to promote myself to them to prove that I am the right person for the job.

21/10/11

Creation of a business card for the business.

The main roles of a business card are to promote yourself to possible clients, giving your current clients the information on how to contact you, but also to tell anybody that your business exists. So with a business card it needs to be eye catching, relevant and with all the information that is needed, like name, address, telephone/mobile number and email address. Also it will need to have a basic list of what services you provide, in this case photography, image manipulation etc.

28/10/11 – 04/11/11

Portfolio Of Work.

Portfolio of work is probably one of the most important things to get right. This is the chance to show any possible clients what sort of work you do, and what you have done in the past. It also allows you to promote yourself as a person. I have already done some work outside of college but also I would include the work I have done so far, so as to give them a wide range of prospects.
